Vice President of The Problem LLC, Alejandro is always laying down the funky bass and sax lines! Catch him playing sax and bass with us, as well as freelancing.

Seattle born vocalist , Quincy has over 10 years of musical experience. Catch her performing with us up and down the sound, or w her family band!

Ebony can be seen bringing her flair to Problem shows all around Bellingham! Don't miss her with her own fantastic group "Miles Ebony and the Deep Cuts"!

Seattle based keys player and drummer, Ben can be seen performing with us on occasion. Catch him performing with his band Middpakk, or at The Rabbit Box!

Dom is a Bellingham based freelance guitarist that first got involved with us through our Sunnyland Jams! Catch him playing guitar with The Problem around Whatcom county.

Bellingham based trombonist, you can catch William performing with us, with his own group, and WWU ensembles! He also teaches lessons at Bellinghome School of Music.

Fresh on the scene from WWU, Aiden can be seen playing with us as well as his own project " The Blophalicious Trio"!

Seattle based bassist, you can catch Noah performing with us, at the jam sessions, and freelancing! Noah also teaches lessons at Evergreen Music.

Bellingham freelance trombonist and studying at WWU, Kenny's roots with trombone run deep. Don't miss him playing around town with us or in WWU big bands and combos!

Seattle freelance guitarist and member of the band Joint Souls. Don't miss him performing with us and laying down funky guitar riffs.

Mount Vernon based saxophonist, Jake has a degree from UNLV in Music Performance. In addition to The Problem, Jake plays w Monster Road, Baby Cakes, and freelances!

Bellingham based freelance musician, Hunter is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist with perfect pitch! You can often catch him at a Problem gig, but generally, he's everywhere!

Bellingham based musician, composer and producer, Brian is best know for his work as founding member of the Rock/Electronica touring outfit, Yamn. Catch him w/ us on occasion!

One of our youngest members at only 20 y/o in 2025, Alder is a serious cat on the scene. Catch his jazz chops with us, or see him cut loose with his punk rock band "Culloden"!

Seattle based jazz guitarist, you can catch Luiggi w/ his project, the Rainier Space jam. He also performs with us, and freelances around Seattle.

WWU Graduate and founding member of The Problem, Gary now lives and performs in Nashville, TN. Still, when passing through he never misses an opportunity to get funky!

Seattle based freelance pianist, Dowon can be seen regularly performing w/ us. He also frequents the Owl n' Thistle jam in Seattle, as well as Rainier space.

One of Bellingham's musical innovators - the dude rips! You can catch Nick performing with his band "EOS". Also see him with "Tenderpile Smile Aisle" and "The Other Things"!

Frost School of Music Grad, Isaac comes straight from the studio of Bryan Lynch! In addition to "The Problem", catch him playing at Aslan Depot's jazz night every Tuesday!

Local freelance musician who's roots go back to folk and contemporary music. He's often seen playing auxiliary percussion w/ us but does far more with his band "Sweetwood"!

WWU jazz student and Bellingham based drummer, Asa Morris can be seen performing with The Problem regularly! Be sure to check out his band "The Other Thing".

One of Bellingham's most talented guitarists, you can catch Ollie w/ his award winning band "The Cuttlefish". Ollie is always down to play funk gigs with us a well!

Bellingham based drummer, experienced in multiple different styles of music from punk to jazz. Catch A.J. w/ us or in one of many bands he performs with.

Bellingham based jazz musician, Tyler plays primarily vibraphone, and doubles on keys. Catch Tyler is some jazz trio or quartet settings w/ us.

Paul is a Seattle based drummer who you can find frequenting the Rainier space session. Catch Paul playing kit with us regularly!
